Corrie fans fear that Kit Green isn’t actually Bernie Winter’s son - and have ‘worked out’ who it could be.
Earlier this year, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) confessed she has a son, Zodiac, that she gave up for adoption away almost thirty years ago.
Determined to track him down, all that Bernie knew was that he had his name changed from Zodiac to Christopher Green not long after he was born.
It was then revealed that he was actually a detective who recently turned up to the cobbles: Christopher 'Kit' Green. Eventually the truth came out about him being Bernie's biological son - but Kit (Jacob Roberts) didn’t want anything to do with her or her family.
Meanwhile Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) have got no idea they have another brother.
What’s more, Kit also had a part to play in Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) getting sent to prison for the murder of Lauren Bolton. As fans will recall, the troubled youngster went missing earlier this year and is presumed dead.
But in a shock twist, Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan's van and framed him. In reality though, viewers learned the truth about Lauren’s disappearance: she was actually beaten to death by sick solicitor Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

Now, fans are certain a shock baby swap happened years ago involving Bernie - and the beloved cobbles resident could be in for quite a shock.
Over on a Corrie Facebook fan page, one person said: “I'm wondering if Kit and Joel were mixed up after birth and Joel is Bernie's other child and Kit is letting Bernie's think it's him could be housemates.”
Someone else mused: “It’s not so far-fetched. I read somewhere else that Kit and Joel are twins. Apparently Bernie was so traumatised she didn't remember she had two babies when she gave them up.
“I think something similar happened to Kat in eastenders,” they added. A third penned: “Wow!” along with a mind-blown emoji, and another wrote: “You never know with Corrie.”
