Celebrity MasterChef 2024 line-up confirmed with Strictly, This Morning and soap stars
BBC's Celebrity MasterChef is returning this summer as Greg Wallace and John Torode keep a close eye on this year's star contestants.
Celebrity MasterChef: Wynne Evans wins the final
This year, fans of the BBC culinary show will see the likes of Strictly Come Dancing professionals, EastEnders actors and ITV stars compete to become this year’s Celebrity MasterChef champion. Judges John Torode and Greg Wallace will be putting the line-up through their paces to try and follow in last year’s winner Wynne Evans’ footsteps.
Competing this year is soap star Danielle Harold, Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, reality star Charlotte Crosby, This Morning host Craig Doyle and Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola.
Also featured in the line-up is TV personality Christine McGuiness, TV judge Dominic Skinner, Actor Eshaan Akbar, Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Pop Star, Ian ‘H’ Watkins.
Radio Presenter Snoochie Shy, actor Tamer Hassan, TV Personality Diane Carson, Radio Presenter Edith Bowman, model Emma Thynn, presenter Jake Quickenden, comedian, Jamie MacDonald, Pop Star Mutya Buena, BBC Presenter OJ Borg and actor Rochenda Sandall will also be competing this year.
The 19th celebrity series will span over six weeks as each contestant will take part in increasingly intense challenges to try and get their hands on the MasterChef trophy. BBC viewers will see the series kick off with four Heat weeks of three episodes.
This will be aimed at testing the celebrities for John and Greg to see their skills in the kitchen.
The challenges will then reveal which celebrities have what it takes as only the most talented cooks will continue to the final stages.
Each week, a batch of five new celebrities will face the notorious Under The Cloche challenge.
They’ll be tasked with creating a dish from scratch to showcase what they’re capable of.

After that, they’ll then be asked to deliver a two-course Dinner Party Menu to wow the judges.
Those successful will then get the chance to step inside the world of a professional restaurant and think up their own Food Truck dish.
In the Quarter Finals, the remaining contestants will get critiqued by returning Champions and Finalists of the show.
Once the Heats are complete, the eight successful celebrities will then face the Semis and Final Week as they get one step closer to being crowned the champion.
A synopsis for the series teases: “From the brand-new Pizza round and a task requiring them to stay on track as they help create an opulent dining experience on the British Pullman Train, to the hotly anticipated Chef’s Table and an impossibly tricky brief of cooking something they don’t like to eat.”
Speaking about the upcoming series, MasterChef series editor Katie Attwood revealed fans of the BBC show are in for a treat this summer.
She said: “With a top line-up of celebrities and the ever-thrilling John and Gregg on judging duty. These stars will need to pull out all the stops this year as we’re really testing their mettle. It’s one you won’t want to miss!”
