Britain's Got Talent viewers shared the same thoughts as a returning act interrupted Ant and Dec on stage during the live semi-final show on Thursday night.
Britain's Got Talent was thrown into chaos just minutes into Thursday's (May 30) live semi-final when a familiar face was booed by the crowd.
During the audition rounds, an act named Bobby Goldfinn donned a goldfish mask and attempted to deliver jokes to the panel of judges; Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli.
Unfortunately, Bobby kept forgetting the punchlines, claiming it was due to having a memory like a goldfish, which led to a swift exit with four red buzzers from the unamused judges.
Simon quipped after the failed attempt: "Well, the good thing is you're going to forget this ever happened.." But it seemed Bobby really did have a short memory as they tried their luck again in the auditions, only to forget the punchline once more, prompting further frustration and red buzzers from the judges.
The persistence didn't stop there; Bobby made a third attempt to win over the panel, causing a stir as presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly stepped in to escort the relentless comedian off stage, despite repeated attempts to return.
The chaos peaked during the live semi-final when Bobby Goldfinn unexpectedly stormed the stage, interrupting Ant and Dec. As Bobby launched into another round of jokes, the audience's patience wore thin, resulting in boos and the judges quickly reaching for their red buzzers, reports the Mirror.
Ant and Dec then gently escorted Bobby Goldfinn off stage, stating with a chuckle: "It's not the auditions, it's the semi-finals! Bobby Goldfinn everybody!"

Meanwhile, speculation has been rampant among viewers keen to discover the person behind Bobby Goldfinn's persona. One social media user hypothesised : "I think Bobby the Goldfish is someone who previously appeared on the show. #bgt."
Someone else demanded: "UNMASK BOBBY GOLDFINN #BGT," as another queried: "Who is Bobby Godfinn #BGT."
