Spinning Plates Podcast: Gabby Logan mentions her husband Kenny
Welsh TV star Gabby Logan, who is now married to Kenny Logan, detailed her past relationships in her memoir called The First Half. In the book, she openly speaks about an affair she had while at Durham University.
At the time, the 50-year-old had a boyfriend called Ian who was a fellow student. However, she started seeing a German tennis player at the same time.
Gabby has revealed that she doesn’t want to hide her past infidelity from her children as it’ll allow them to see people are allowed to make decisions and move on. When speaking to The Times, Gavvy confessed she was initially worried about what her teenage daughter would think.
Gabby said: “But actually, you want them to know. You set these kinds of standards for your kids and try and give them a great example.
“But actually, that’s not the full picture and they didn’t know me before I became a better person.” The Welsh TV star revealed that it dawned on her when she was writing how often people make excuses for their behaviour, without taking ownership.
She continued: “You’re allowed to make bad decisions and then you move on. I think it’s how you learn from those bad decisions.”
Gabby has been married to the former Scotland international rugby union player since 2001.
After undergoing IVF treatment, the pair welcomed their twins, son Reuben and daughter Lois, in 2005.
Kenny was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2022 and was given the all-clear last year.
