ITV viewers who tuned into Friday's edition of This Morning praised stand-in hosts Dermot O'Leary and Josie Gibson, with some fans saying that they prefer the duo to Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.
Cat and Ben made their debut on This Morning as official co-presenters this week, replacing Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as the permanent hosts for the four-day working gig.
On Fridays, the beloved ITV programme is usually fronted by the likes of Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark and Rochelle Humes. On today's edition, Josie Gibson and Dermot O'Leary lead the programme and this left viewers delighted.
One person said on X: "Please make Josie lead presenter much better than Cat and even thinking Dermot might be better than Ben! #ThisMorning."
A second chimed in: "Lovely to see Josie & Dermot back on #thismorning Xx," as a third typed: "Just turned in after shopping. Nice to see Josie back #thismorning."

A fourth also commented: "Loving #ThisMorning today with Dermot and Josie. Only watching Fridays now as find I cannot relax watching Cat."
A fifth chimed in: "This is more like it..light hearted entertainment, not like its been the rest of the week with the bores!..these two shouldve got the job #ThisMorning."
It was confirmed last month that Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley would be the permanant hosts. Alison Hammond recently broke her silence over not being chosen as the official host, despite presenting on Fridays alongside Dermot O'Leary.

It had been reported that both O'Leary and Hammond were "annoyed" that they weren't chosen. When asked about this in an interview with The Times, Alison reportedly gasped: "Again, absolute…We’re the Friday guys! We love being Friday guys!"
When she was quizzed about Phillip Schofield, she replied: "I don’t want to get into salacious gossip. All I need to say is I personally wish Phillip Schofield all the best. I loved Phillip Schofield. Full stop. But that’s the last thing I would want to speak about."
