Emmerdale star Zoe Henry appeared on ITV's This Morning and teased her exit storyline.
Zoe Henry shares details on latest Emmerdale storyline
The actress who plays Rhona Gorskirk on the popular ITV soap opera is mixed up in an emotional plot. Earlier this year her first husband Gus Malcolm (played by Alan Mckenna) came back into her life.
He wanted to know if he could use one of Rhona’s frozen embryos to which she said no. However, unscrupulous Gus forged her signature to sign them over to him and his new partner Lucy.
Gus then used the embryos to impregnate Lucy. After a successful implantation, he went on to secretly have a child with his wife.
Tragically, Lucy had died while giving birth due to complications. With Rhona wanting to get to know her biological daughter and ends up fleeing the village.
To which she described as being “quite un-Rhona-like.”
However, she said she did understand why she decided to make a “run” for it as her motherly instincts kicked in.

Meanwhile, she added, before referencing Gus’ plans: “This is my child, and you’re going to take her to France and I am never going to see her again”.
Zoe also confessed during the ITV interview: “Something guttural kicks in."
Remaining tight-lipped of the plot, Zoe was heard saying: “I can’t possibly say. “I actually don’t know, but I can’t possibly say.”
Shocked that Zoe was not certain of her character's future, Alison quizzed her on how much she knew.
Zoe said: “We know a little bit in advance but not too much.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
