A Place In The Sun pay tribute to Jonnie Irwin
A Place in the Sun host Ben Hillman paid a moving tribute to Jonnie Irwin at this year's TRIC Award.
Ben and his fellow co-stars took to the stage to accept the award which was presented by Ellie Simmonds.
However, during his acceptance speech, Ben took a moment to pay tribute to Jonnie, who was sitting in the audience.
"Wow," he began. "I am so sweaty I can't believe it. I have literally just got back off of holiday.
"I took the children to school this morning, I went to class assembly, I ran up here and I never expected this."

Jonnie Irwin, 49, is battling terminal cancer after being diagnosed with lung cancer over two years ago.
"This is fantastic, thank you to TRIC, thank you to everybody that has voted for us.
"It is 23 years almost now which is unbelievable, there are so many people from behind the scenes here who do amazing work and keep the show on the road."
"Gosh, I am exhausted...thank you everybody that voted," he repeated.
"Obviously, someone we would like to mention is a fantastic presenter who has been on the show for decades, Jonnie Irwin."

"I know you're out there somewhere, Jonnie," Ben added as he looked out toward the audience.
"This one is for you too, Jonnie, and thanks Channel 4, I think that's got it."
Jonnie looked in good spirits as he posed at The TRIC Award alongside his Escape to the Country co-stars.
The presenter was dressed in a green jacket, that he paired with grey trousers and a matching hat.
Jonnie went public with his cancer diagnosis in November 2022, almost two and a half years after he was first diagnosed.
The presenter decided to keep it quiet for a while as he admitted to "needing the money".
Shortly after it was revealed Jonnie's contract for A Place in the Sun hadn't been renewed.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays from 4pm on Channel 4.
