Jennifer Lopez claims sharing her Super Bowl slot with Shakira was the "worst idea ever" in her brand-new Netflix documentary Halftime. The Love Don't Cost a Thing hitmaker blasted the NFL's decision to have two halftime performers during the famous US football game three years ago.

In the programme, she hits back at the organisers' decision to have two performers during the halftime show back in 2020.
The Jenny from the Block hitmaker fumed after she had to share the short-lived spotlight with Latina popstar Shakira.
She branded the infamous ordeal the "worst idea in the world".

In one of the documentary's scenes, JLo is filmed as she plans her half of the performance with her music director Kim Burse.
"We have six f***ing minutes," Jennifer fumed.
"We have to have our singing moments," she said.
JLo added: "It's not going to be a dance f***ing revue. We have to sing our message."
Jennifer added: "This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl."
"It was the worst idea in the world," she continued in the programme which premiered at the Tribeca Festival in 2022.
JLo's longtime manager Benny Medina also appears in the show as he echoes her feelings.
"Typically, you have one headliner at a Super Bowl," Medina said.

He added: "That headliner constructs a show, and, should they choose to have other guests, that's their choice.
"It was an insult to say you needed two Latinas to do the job that one artist historically has done."
Previous performers, including Madonna and Lady Gaga, were each given more than 13 minutes to perform solo, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Halftime shows the moment Lopez tells Shakira that NFL sources told her they would have "about 12 minutes combined".
Their joint 2020 Super Bowl halftime show ran for around 14 minutes, giving them both approximately seven minutes each.
"If it was going to be a double headliner, they should have given us 20 minutes," Lopez told Shakira.
Express.co.uk has approached the NFL for comment.
