LORD JEFFREY ARCHER lashed out at France for their attitude in the ongoing Brexit fishing row.
Jersey: Expert hits out at 'floundering' France in fishing row
Brexiteer Lord Jeffrey Archer attacked France for threatening to cut the electricity of Jersey in the Brexit fishing spat. While speaking on Good Morning Britain, Lord Archer insisted they were floundering the situation. He added that he would normally take an understanding approach in political rows but insisted if it was France versus Britain he would always support Britain.
This comes after Boris Johnson deployed the Royal Navy to Jersey to prevent any form of blockades from France.
Lord Archer said: "They can't cut off the power.
"Mind you, I must say even though I am trying to keep an even keel on where I stand when people have a row, I don't keep an even keel when it is France versus Britain.
"I am clearly on the side of Britain.

"They are floundering away, as usual, the French are wrong here.
"We are not allowed to discuss politics this morning but the French are wrong."
