The Pride of Birmingham Awards are almost here and there is plenty to look forward to this year. On May 6, heroes who have carried out extraordinary acts of selflessness and kindness will be recognised for their efforts. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about how to watch the awards.
How to watch the Pride of Birmingham Awards
This year's awards will of course not be the same as the usual star-studded event, but there is still plenty of fun to be had.
Actress Kym Marsh is looking forward to hosting the 2021 awards and honouring some amazing individuals.
The event will take place at the Belfry Hotel in Birmingham, with coronavirus safety precautions being strictly adhered to.
The ceremony promises to be packed with emotional moments as the winners receive their awards and share their stories.

The awards will take place on Thursday, May 6 at 7pm.
Viewers will be able to watch the event unfold on YouTube, via youtube.com/prideofbritainawards.
All of this year’s winners will go forward to the judging process for the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.
In partnership with TSB, the awards are shown on ITV in the Autumn.

Last year's Pride of Birmingham winner was PC Claire Bond, who was serenaded by popstar Olly Murs on the set of The Voice.
She was given the This Morning Emergency Services Award for risking her life to stop an out-of-control driver from hitting a group of runners.
The winners of the 2021 awards have been announced and Kym Marsh said: “I am so excited to be hosting Pride of Birmingham, once again.
"It was brilliant to meet the winners and hear their amazing stories. It was incredibly emotional, but incredibly uplifting too, and I know viewers will feel the same.”

Gareth Lewis, TSB Regional Director, said there are even more incredible stories to share this year.
He said: "Judging this year’s winners of the Pride of Birmingham Awards wasn’t easy.
"We are delighted for all the winners and especially for our TSB Community Hero Award winner Hannah, whose incredible work and dedication has helped girls to fulfil their potential.”
Hannah Simnett, 28, founded Cherished in 2011 - an organisation based in Sutton Coldfield to support girls with their mental health.
