WARNING: This article contains spoilers for The Boys season 2, episode 8.
Stormfront exposed
Reeling from the events at the end of episode seven, the group of vigilantes led by Billy Butcher (played by Karl Urban) vowed to kill all of the Seven.
However, the level-headed Hughie (Jack Quaid) was convinced there must be another way and set off with Starlight (Erin Moriarty) to work out what it was.
Thankfully, their interests aligned with A-Train (Jessie T Usher) who was desperate to get rid of Stormfront (Aya Cash) from the Seven for her racist Nazi ideology.
He gave them the evidence they needed to expose who she really was, which then hit headline news.

Becca’s missing son
Becca Butcher (Shantel VanSanten) returned to Billy’s life in the season finale after her son Ryan (Cameron Crovetti) had been taken by Homelander (Anthony Starr).
She made Billy promise he would bring him back to her safely, leading him to make a pact with Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito).
Providing Edgar revealed where Ryan was being kept, he would give the boy back to Vought in exchange for Becca’s freedom.
Edgar agreed, which meant the Boys worked out a diabolical plan to target Homelander and Stormfront at a remote cabin.
Billy’s sacrifice
However, when the moment came to give up Ryan, Billy could not go through with it and betray Becca.
Therefore, he tried to get them away from danger by asking Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) to drive them somewhere remote.
Stormfront appeared before they could manage this, leading to an epic fight between her, Starlight, Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) and Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott).
They almost succeeded in stopping her but she managed to trap Becca, Billy and Ryan in the forest.
In a heartbreaking moment, she tried to strangle Becca before Ryan lost control of his powers and fired laser beams at them both.
He maimed Stormfront badly but also accidentally killed his mother, who told Billy in her dying worlds to protect Ryan.
Things got even more complicated when Homelander turned up, distraught at Stomfront’s fate as he tried to get his son to come with him.
Billy stood between them and it was Maeve who managed to convince Homelander to let them go by bribing him with the footage of them on the plane from season one.

Starlight is back in the Seven
Following Stormfront’s Nazi background coming to light, Starlight was commended for her bravery and invited back into the Seven.
Starlight was not the only one brought back in either as A-Train was also announced to be returning, while The Deep (Chace Crawford) was left stranded.
Ryan sent to safety
Billy made good on his dying promise to Becca and managed to get Ryan to Mallory (Laila Robins).
The last viewers saw of the young boy was him being sent to safety to grow up away from Homelander.
Victoria Newman’s identity revealed
The big question remained about who was behind the spate of killings which saw several major characters killed.
This was revealed in the final few moments when Congresswoman Victoria Newman (Claudia Doumit) arrived outside the Church of the Collective’s headquarters.
She killed Alistair Adana (Goran Visnjic) before making her way back to her campaign office, where her team were working on her reelection.
Among those waiting for her was Hughie who had left the Boys to come and work for her, unaware she was a Supe.
This is sure to have some big repercussions when season three of the show begins on Amazon Prime Video.
