NCIS Los Angeles fans were left disappointed by the last season finale, which promised a JAG reunion between Harmon ‘Harm’ Rabb (played by David James Elliott) and Sarah ‘Mac’ Mackenzie (Catherine Bell) but kept them apart. Harm and Mac, however, could reunite in the premiere of NCIS LA season 11 if new spoilers are to be believed. CBS viewers will be able to see a potential JAG reunion when NCIS Los Angeles season 11 starts on September 29.
Will Harm and Mac reunite on NCIS Los Angeles season 11?
TV Line reported today (Tuesday, August 20) that Harm and Mac will physically reunite in the opener of NCIS Los Angeles season 11.
This was revealed in a first look image that saw David James Elliott and Catherine Bell together on set.
NCIS Los Angeles showrunner R. Scott Gemmill told TV Line: “Their paths get closer and closer as the story unfolds, until ultimately they’re face to face in the same room again...Now, what happens next?”
Gemmill also revealed why he decided to keep them apart in NCIS Los Angeles season 10.

He said: “These people that we’ve grown to like over 10 seasons, we’re seeing where they are 16 years later.
“Things don’t always work out the way you thought.”
However, he then teased that Harm and Mac’s: “Final chapter isn’t written yet.”
In the season 10 two-part finale, the closest that JAG fans got to a reunion was a conference call between Harm and Mac.

In this call, he told her: “You look great,” while she said, “you haven’t changed. Life at sea suits you.”
Elsewhere in the episode, NCIS Los Angeles revealed why the couple we no longer together after walking off into the sunset together in the JAG finale.
In that finale, the couple pledged that one of them would stop working and they flipped a coin to decide who that would be.
However, on NCIS, it was revealed that they were split up by their dual desire to work.

Mac told Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) that she had not seen her former husband in nine years.
He declined a JAG position in London to live with Mac, but eventually changed his mind as he: “Needed to get back into the fight” according to Mac.
She then took a position in the State Department, meaning that, in Mac’s own words, their: “Pretense of a marriage was over.”
Though we now know that the two will reunite, the NCIS LA showrunners have not yet revealed how.
