Strictly Come Dancing 2018: Seann Walsh drops EXPLOSIVE exit revelation?
STRICTLY COME DANCING’S Seann Walsh revealed he thought he’d be voted off the competition first before he started dancing with his professional dance partner, Katya Jones.
It Takes Two: Seann Walsh says he thought he'd be first to leave
Seann Walsh, 32, and Katya Jones, 29, have been all over the headlines over the past few weeks, and not because of their dancing ability on Strictly Come Dancing.
The pair has been performing consistently well on the show, yet it’s been overshadowed by the kiss they shared a few weeks back.
However, Seann and Katya are still in the competition, despite having been in the bottom two last week.
The pair performed the Quickstep on Saturday night which received mixed reviews from the judges.
They appeared on It Takes Two today, and Zoe Ball asked Seann whether he ever thought he’d get this far in the competition.
Zoe asked: “Before you started this whole process, did you ever think you’d get this far in the competition, Sean?”
His response was candid as he revealed that he thought he was going to be voted off first.
“Honestly, no,” he replied.
The comedian also revealed: “I thought I’d be gone by week one.
“I thought I can’t dance. I don’t know how to dance.
“No, it’s been great. I’ve got a lot further than I thought."
Zoe then interjected and started discussing how far he’s come since the beginning of the competition.
“You’re leaning. You’re learning. You’re improving. You’re a real joy to watch as well,” she said which brought a smile out of the pair.
Next week is going to be a special Halloween episode of the show, so expect some rather spooky performances.
Strictly: Seann Walsh and Katya Jones dance the Quickstep
It’s a rather odd choice, but given how impressive the couple have been so far, it’ll probably blow the judges away.
Stacey and Kevin got a score of 33 on last week’s show after their Samba to Tequila got the judges on their feet.
As for Seann and Katya, they’ll be hoping not to end up in the bottom two on next week’s show.
Strictly Come Dancing returns Saturday at 6.50pm on BBC One.
