Give me medal says mass killer
GUNMAN Anders Breivik who killed 77 people in Norway told a stunned court yesterday he deserved a medal of honour for the massacre.
Smirking, he stretched out his arms in what his lawyer said was “some kind of right-wing extremist greeting”. Breivik, 32, then told the court in Oslo that the rampage was a strike against “traitors” he claims are allowing “an Islamic colonisation of Norway”.
He has admitted setting off a bomb outside government headquarters in Oslo and going on a shooting spree at a youth camp on Utoya island last July. Breivik, who denies criminal responsibility, was remanded in custody until his trial which is due to start on April 16.
