World War 3: This is what the US needs to do to stop Syria, reveals US Congressman
THE UNITED STATES should step up, be a world leader and show the international community that “there is no room” for Assad’s behaviour, a US Congressman has warned.
US congressman reveals what USA needs to do to stop Syria
Donald Trump and his administration need to make Assad a target because he is “creating chaos”, said US Congressman Adam Kinzinger.
Mr Kinzinger, a Republican congressman from Illnois, told Fox News: “I would love to see Assad as a target.
“I don’t think the administration necessarily do that and will go attack his airforce, his infrastructure, helicopter facilities, airbases, etcetera.”
This comes after US President Donald Trump described the Syrian President as “an animal” and threatened retribution after up to 150 people were killed on Saturday night in Douma, Eastern Ghouta.

The reality is we never could have predicted that it would have got as bad as it did with Assad
Mr Kinzinger said: “But let us keep in mind that you hear a lot of times, we need to talk about what comes after Assad.
“When the red line in Syria happened in 2013, President Obama made that statement ‘well, we just don’t know what happens after’ as kind of justification for his lack of action.
“The reality is we never could have predicted that it would have got as bad as it did with Assad.”
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his supporters, including Russia, have been blamed by world leaders for the chemical attack.
Expert warns Russia could respond 'militarily' if US strike Syria
Russia and Syria have both denied involvement in the incident in the rebel-held town of eastern Ghouta near Damascus.
Mr Kinzinger added: “Assad is creating chaos, Assad is chaos.
“So even if he dies by the hand of his own people or a US missile strike, the place cannot get anymore chaotic than it already is now.
“He is killing children, and we need to make it clear that there is no room for that in the international community and this is where the United States can be a world leader and should be.”
