Two people stabbed in ‘terrifying’ Macy’s shopping centre attack
AT LEAST three people have been injured during a knife attack inside a major department store in the Mall of America.

The incident occurred in the men’s department of Macy’s shortly after 6.45pm local time in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Two men were stabbed in the Macy's store at the Mall of America on Sunday night in what Bloomington police described as "an interrupted theft".
According to initial reports, one person was stabbed in the back, another was stabbed multiple times. Meanwhile, the suspect is also believed to have been wounded.
One Twitter user wrote: “Just lived through the scariest experience of my life. I heard someone screaming ‘He got me! He got me!’. I knew something was not right. Some other shoppers ran towards the screaming, and someone (who I believe was the victim's brother) yelled ‘911!’ I called the police and hid.”
Kim Schwieters, from Grant, Minnesota, who was visiting Santa outside the Macy’s with her three children, said: “We saw two cops running toward Macy’s.
“By the time we got to the main area — the men’s department is to the right — more police started running in with their guns drawn.”
The victims were taken to Hennepin County Medical Centre in Minneapolis.
Bloomington Police chief Jeff Potts said their injuries were not life-threatening.
Mr Potts added that police had a suspect in custody who had minor injuries.
A statement from Bloomington police said: “A subject is in custody after a stabbing at Macy’s.”
