BARCELONA attack suspect Moussa Oukabir was one of the jihadi cell shot dead by police in Cambrils, police have revealed.

Five men were shot dead in the coastal town of Cambrils eight hours after 13 people were killed on Las Ramblas, Barcelona.
The twin attacks in the Catalan capital were a reaction to air strikes in Syria, ISIS claimed, despite Spaniards refusing to take part in air bombing campaigns in 2015.
Police had earlier said they were searching for Oukabir and three other men.
People gathered to pay tribute to the terror victims
Oukabir, who is thought to have been 17-years-old, was a Spanish citizen from the northern Catalan city of Girona.
He is suspected of using his brother’s documents to rent the van used in the Barcelona attack.
Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack.
Police are believed to have shot dead Oukabir in the nearby seaside town of Cambrils.

People in the car had been wearing fake suicide vests and equipped with knives and an axe, said officials.
Seven people were injured in the Cambrils attack, one of whom later died.
Thousands of people today gathered in Barcelona’s main square for a minute’s silence to remember the victims of the two terror attacks.
Spain’s King Felipe VI, prime minister Mariano Rajoy and Barcelona’s mayor Ada Colau joined other political figures and a crowd of thousands at the Placa de Catalunya.

As the silence ended the air was filled with applause and the crowd chanted: “I am not afraid.”
Red roses were held in the air as prime minister Rajoy addressed the gathered crowds.
He said: “Unfortunately, Spaniards know the absurd and irrational pain that terrorism causes. We have received blows like this in recent years, but we also know that terrorists can be beaten.”
Donald Trump pledged his full support in investigating the Barcelona attack and bringing the terrorists to justice during a conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
