Three children among five fatally electrocuted at water park in Turkey
FIVE people, three of them children, have died after being electrocuted at a water park in Turkey's northwest Sakarya province.

According to local media, three children were electrocuted after getting caught up in an electrical current in the pool at a water park in the town of Akyazi.
The children were aged 12, 15, and 17, according to the Turkish NTV television channel.
Sources say the two adults who died were the resort's 58-year-old owner and his 30-year-old son.
It is believed the pair leapt into the water when the noticed the children in distress, in an attempt to rescue them.

All five were subsequently admitted to hospital, but medical staff there were unable to save them.
Another two people were reportedly injured after touching metal barriers around the edge of the pool.
An investigation into the incident is underway.

Turkish gendarmerie officials said there was no residual current device (RCD) at the aqua park after an initial inspection of the scene.
An RCD device instantly breaks an electric circuit to prevent serious harm from an ongoing electric shock.
