TWO WOMEN have been arrested in anti-terror raids in the French city of Lille.

Residents reported hearing loud bangs early this morning as police carried out the operation.
One neighbour said: “I heard a bang at about 6:00 am, which got me out of sleep.
“I did not know what it was. I looked out, and I saw many policemen hooded.”
Explosives were used when the French Homeland burst into the flat in the north of France.
The operation last two hours and two woman, aged 32 and 33, were arrested.
Police have not yet revealed what they have been arrested on suspicion of.
The women can be held for 92 hours by police.
