A FRUSTRATED Nick Ferrari has called on security forces to tag potential terrorists in a bid to “protect our children”.
Nick Ferrari demands ALL 'terrorist sympathisers' are tagged
The radio host said he had “enough” of rhetoric following the Manchester terror attack, in which 22 people, including children, were killed in a bombing following an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena.
He slammed security forces after news broke of the suicide bomber Salman Abedi being known to authorities before the attack on Monday night.
Speaking on his LBC show, he said: "When these politicians say effectively ‘keep calm, carry on, we will not be divided, the city is going back to work’ – yes you're right, but enough already.
Nick Ferrari has called for all terror suspects to be tagged
You have to tag them. I mean it. If it takes 3,000 tags then buy 3,000 b***** tags
"This has been a slaughter of the innocents.
"It was effectively a Disney star this evil vile terrorist picked and it's simply not good enough. They are literally coming after our children now. Literally coming after our children.”
Ferrari called for all terror suspects to be placed under tag no matter the cost.
There has been heightened security in the capital too
He said: “You have to tag them. I mean it. If it takes 3,000 tags then buy 3,000 b***** tags.
"Instead of spending £56billion on the pitiful HS2, why don't we use some of that money to actually protect our children so we don't have to see blood literally on the walls of an arena where kiddies have gone to a pop concert?"
The comments come after Britain’s terror threat level was increased to “critical” following the bombing – signalling another attack could be imminent.
Speaking in Downing Street following a COBRA meeting, she said: "The work undertaken throughout the day has revealed it is a possibility we cannot ignore that there is a wider group of individuals linked to this attack.
“This means that their assessment is not only that an attack remains highly likely but that a further attack may be imminent.”
