Woman 'raped male taxi driver as distraction while accomplice stole £25 from victim'
A WOMAN has been charged with raping a male taxi driver as her accomplice robbed him of £25.
Brittany Sue Carter is accused of raping a male taxi driver
Brittany S Carter is accused of performing a sex act on the man as Cory L Jackson, 20, of Lima, Ohio, held a knife to his neck.
The pair got into the taxi at about 4.24am on January 28 in Larkins Street in the city of Findlay, Ohio in the US.
Carter, 23, of Fremont, Ohio, then held the driver down and they took £25.60 from his wallet before making off, Findlay Police said.
Findlay Police Detective Lieutenant Robert Ring said: "We don't know why she did it.
"Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him."
He added the man was not injured in the incident.
The incident happened in the centre of Findlay, Ohio
The driver, who works for Trinity Express Cab Service, reported the incident to police and warrants were made for their arrests.
Carter was arrested yesterday and charged with first-degree felony rape and aggravated robbery.
However, Jackson, who is also wanted for a separate murder incident, is still at large, Detective Ring said.
He added: "He has a warrant for his arrest for robbery with us and a murder warrant out of Lima."
Hancock County Sherrif's website shows Carter has also been charged with two counts of permitting drug abuse and one count of possession of heroin.
Her accomplice, Cory Jackson, is still wanted for the incident, as well as a murder in his hometown
Women being charged with rape is unusual, but not unheard of, with a 23-year-old woman from Brisbane, Australia, appearing in court last November after she was charged with two counts of rape, sexual assault, depreciation of liberty and causing bodily harm.
The Australian, who was transitioning to a man, was accused of carrying out the sexual offences on another woman she met on Tinder.
The court heard how the accused posed as a man to meet the woman before causing her serious injuries during the incident.
