French tram station evacuated after bomb scare
THE tram station Cenon in Bordeaux, France was evacuated following a bomb scare.
Police evacuated a train station in France
According to local media, a suspect package was discovered at around 6pm local time.
Traffic has been turned away from the station and security barriers have been put in place.
A bomb disposal unit has been at the scene.
Heavy traffic jams have built up in the area following the bomb scare.

Authorities have said that the incident was a false alarm and trains resumed at 6:50pm local time.
However, tram operators have warned of delays.

France is on high security alert following various terrorist acts over the past year.
Cenon is a part of Bordeaux that is north west of the main city.
This is the second bomb threat in Bordeaux in two days.
