Girl escapes rape attempt after 'African or Arab' man followed her on Berlin train and bus
A MANHUNT is underway in Germany after a man followed a girl on a train and bus before attempting to rape her in a hallway.

The man, described as of “North African or Arabic appearance” by police, attacked the girl in a residential house in Berlin.
German investigators have now published photographs of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on September 6 last year.
They say the girl, aged 15, was attacked from behind in the hallway of a house in the Berlin neighbourhood of Spandeau at 8.30pm.
A neighbour arrived at the scene, forcing the man to flee.

A video released by the Berlin Transport Authority shows the man following her on a bus and train. The girl did not notice she was being trailed.
Police said the man was aged between 20 and 25 years of age.
The incident occurred on September 6 last year in the Berlin neighbourhood of Spandau
They say he was of North African or Arabic appearance, and spoke English and “very bad” German.
He has short hair with a receding hairline, a black chin beard and was around 5 foot 11 inches tall.
