Woman, 18, raped in Manchester city centre car park
POLICE have launched an investigation after a teenager was sexually assaulted in a city centre car park.
The attack took place at 2.50am this morning
The attack took place at the site just off Manchester's Major Street at 2.50am this morning.
A security guard at a nearby building is believed to have rushed to the girl's aid after hearing screams.
By that point, the attacker had already fled the scene.
The victim is currently being supported by specially trained officers.

One nearby car park attendant said he was "shocked".
He said: "It's somebody's daughter."
PCSOs have cordoned off the carpark while investigations continue.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
