Nigerian mum dumps her baby in an airport BIN to avoid missing flight
A NIGERIAN mother has been arrested after she allegedly dumped her newborn baby inside an airport bin as she was in such a rush to get her connecting flight.
The horrific incident happened in Vienna Airport
The newborn was found by a cleaner in a plastic bag at Vienna International Aiport, but she died in hospital on Thursday.
The child’s mother has been identified as a 27-year-old woman who has not been named.

The mother allegedly told authorities she was travelling from Belarus to Washington DC and she did not want to miss her connecting flight.
A police spokesman said she was 'found bleeding in the waiting area', as she had just given birth, and taken to hospital.
The mother has claimed that she thought the baby was stillborn, but officials have said that the child died in hospital because of a lack of oxygen.

The woman, a student, is being held in custody.
Officials have ordered a post-mortem examination to reveal the exact cause of death.
Prosecutor Friedrich Kohl has said the woman will be investigated on suspicion of killing a child at birth.
According to the Austrian Criminal Code, this offence can lead to a prison sentence of up to five years.
