‘She opened the door to ISIS and Islamic terrorism’ Farage slams Merkel’s migrant policy
NIGEL FARAGE has slammed Angela Merkel for her poor handling of the migrant crisis.

Speaking to Fox Business Network, Mr Farage branded the German chancellor’s actions as “great historical mistakes”.
He said: “What Angela Merkel did last year will go down as the great historical mistakes made by any Western Democratic leader.”
The former Ukip leader was discussing Hillary Clinton’s comments in which she revealed Ms Merkel was one of her favourite world leaders.
Farage said: “Normally in life when you see failure staring you in the face, you reject it and run in the opposite direction — but not dear old Hillary who is still stuck in the 20th century and who simply is incapable of opening her eyes to what Merkel did last summer.”
Clinton had praised Ms Merkel for the humanitarian efforts made by Europe to deal with the crisis in the Middle-East.

But the Brexit champion rejected the notion that EU’s policy to open the borders to million of migrants had been the right choice. He said Europe had opened up “the door to ISIS and Islamic terrorism”.
Farage also warned US voters: “This is the model Hillary Clinton wants you to vote for on November the 8th”.
The politician agreed with presenter Stuart Varney that the ongoing turmoil in Syria and North Africa is “truly horrid on a humanitarian level” but insisted the best way to deal with those issues is to help people in their own countries.

He said that Europe’s “humanitarian gesture” was merely encouraging young men to leave behind women and children in order to find a better life for themselves in the West.
He added: “I’m not so sure that this humanitarian gesture is actually doing her [Merkel] anything other than feeding organised crime and leading to thousands of deaths.”
The number of human traffickers has reached worrying levels in Europe since the migrant crisis.

Gangs are competing against one another to take over the migrant-smuggling trade, it was revealed.
According to analysts at the International Organisation for Migration, the migrant death toll is expected to exceed 10,000 this year.
The UN revealed in May that more than 2,500 migrants had died trying to cross the the Mediterranean.
The eastern Mediterranean route - passing through Turkey to the Greek islands in the Aegean is the most popular route used by migrants trying to reach wealthier European countries.
