Swiss to make Polanski announcement
Switzerland is due to make an announcement about film director Roman Polanski's extradition to the United States for a 1977 sex case.
Justice Minister Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf will hold a news conference in the capital Bern at 1300 BST "on the matter of the Roman Polanski extradition decision."
A Justice Ministry spokesman refused to confirm whether a decision has been made and what it might be.
The director has been held in Switzerland since last September on an extradition request made by the US.
He was allowed to move from prison to his Alpine chalet in December pending the decision.
