Nine dead in Brazil bus crash
Nine people have been killed and 17 others injured after a commuter bus collided with a fuel truck in southern Brazil.
Authorities were still investigating the cause of the crash, but police said it appeared the accident happened after the bus driver fell asleep.
Highway police officer Eder Carvalho said the bus carrying 26 people caught on fire and was destroyed after the collision on Thursday near the southern city of Ponta Grossa in Parana state.
Mr Carvalho said there were some children among the victims.
The crash happened two days after eight people died and 22 were injured after another bus fell off a bridge in the north-eastern state of Bahia.
