French plane in emergency landing
An Air France plane had to make an emergency landing in the US half an hour after taking off, officials said.
Phil Orlandella, a spokesman for Massachusetts Port Authority, said Flight 321 left Logan International Airport in Boston for Paris with 125 people on board.
Shortly afterwards, a warning light flashed up for one of its engines.
Mr Orlandella said the pilots shut down the engine and returned to the airport.
The Airbus 340 landed back at Logan . No injuries were reported.
Air France spokeswoman Karen Gillo said there was no engine fire.
Passengers were booked into hotel rooms for the night and were scheduled to leave for Paris on another flight later.
