BRITAIN could face travel chaos during the rush hour madness on Friday as temperatures plunge and snow heads towards parts of the UK.

Met Office issue there is a weather warning out for ice and snow in Scotland and Northern Ireland on Friday morning as temperatures plummet.
Met Office forecaster Alex Deakin said: “It’s a little bit chilly out there admittedly, a touch of frost in places.”
“As always one of two exceptions still across western Scotland. We have showers piling in this morning. And those showers still snow in places.
Mr Deakin warned of “continued threats of snow and showers” in parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland.

But parts of rural England is set to see temperatures hovering around freezing over the weekend.
The Met Office forecaster warned of further rain and travel chaos for parts of England. Mr Deakin said: “In the west we will see a bit more wet weather gathering and pushing its way across Northern Ireland and through the evening at rush hour we will see water and rain pushing into western Scotland.”
BBC weather also said there has will be a touch of frost around but very few showers for parts of England.

Temperatures will plunge on Saturday as clear skies bring freezing cold winds.
Snow will push into eastern Scotland, parts of Northern England and North Wales on Saturday morning.
There is set to be a brief burst of milder weather on Monday before temperatures begin to plunge again.
Met Office spokesman Nicola Maxey said: "At the start of next week daytime temperatures could lift into double figures, it will also be much more settled than recently.
"However the rest of this week will remain cold with lows of freezing widely overnight and possibly -3C (26.6F) to -5C (23F) in some rural spots.
"We expect some some widespread frosts and a north-south divide will bring wetter conditions with the risk of wintry showers to Scotland and the north while the south is drier but colder."
Bookies have cut the odds on 2018 being the coldest year on record in the UK. Bookmakers Coral have odds of 5-1 to 2-1 as the freezing weather continues for parts of the country.
“It’s been a rough start to 2018 and that has prompted a flurry of bets for this year to end as the coldest on record where the odds have been dropping as fast as the mercury,” said Coral’s John Hill.
Ladbrokes is offering 6-4 from 2-1 on seeing -10C (14F) by the end of the weekend with 5-2 on snow every day until march.
Spokeswoman Jessica Bridge said: "Unfortunately freezing February's weather has left us with little option but to slash the odds on it being a record breaker for all the wrong reasons."
