Most places will start to feel milder at the end of the week before another cold blast strikes at the weekend.

It comes after a chilly Easter bank holiday saw temeratures hit -4C in Scotland.
Met Office forecaster Alex Burkill said northern regions were due to feel the chill last night with the south in the firing line tonight.
He said: “A cold front will push through the country on Monday night bringing in some quite cold air behind it.”
