The UK is set to enjoy largely dry spells today as cooler weather takes hold across the country.
UK set to face 'sunny but chilly' Easter Monday
Easter Monday will be dry for most people around the UK, with short sunny spells and a scattering of showers.
However, Scotland will have a cooler band of showery rain and the chance of some snow in hilly regions.
Cloud and sunny spells before getting cooler this evening
Gardeners throughout the UK should be aware that Monday night will have colder and clearer conditions that will develop into a widespread frost, which will be particularly sharp in the north.
The wintry band of rain in Scotland will move south over eastern parts of England, in the later part of the day, but clearing overnight.

Cardiff will have a fairly chilly start to the day but will remain mainly dry with some sunny spells and a high of 13 degrees celsius.
Belfast will enjoy a mainly bright and dry day after a damp start. It will feel rather chilly with a high of 12 degrees celsius.

Southampton, Swindon and Birmingham will all peak at 12 degrees celsius, while London will nudge the mercury up to 13 degrees celsius.
There will be the odd isolated shower in Manchester, possibly becoming more frequent in the north later in the day with a maximum temperature of 11 degrees celsius.

Doncaster in South Yorkshire will have a frosty start to the day with occasionally heavy showers later on.
Tuesday will be dry for most, with the southeast having the best of the sunshine, but northwest Scotland will see rain later.
