Missing woman, 22, made eerie Facebook post days after disappearing with no contact
Jasmine Pace, who went missing a day before Thanksgiving, posted a strange Facebook status after not being heard from for days.
The Facebook account of a 22-year-old woman who vanished without trace more than a week ago has posted an eerie message which may offer a clue about her disappearance. University student Jasmine Pace was last seen on November 22, with surveillance footage showing her leaving her mum's house the same night.
Jasmine sent her location to her mother, Catherine, the morning after leaving, but has not been seen in the nine days that have followed sparking a hunt to find her.
Mum Catherine said her daughter’s car was found abandoned at apartments in her hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee - miles from where she had last texted.
Bailey Putnam, a childhood friend of Jasmine’s, said the lack of communication was "so very unlike her”, adding: "There's not an hour they don't hear from Jasmine, let alone an day.”
Then on Saturday, after several days of no contact, Jasmine posted a bizarre Facebook status, raising suspicions.
The Facebook update to Jasmine’s account featured one lingerie photo and several short videos consolidated into one post, captioned: "Enjoying Thanksgiving with my baby!!"
One comment on the post said "She didn't post this y'all", while many commenters said they thought the same.
Bailey suggested to Crime Online the pictures were old, as the missing woman had tattoos done on her upper arm in recent years.

She also noted that due to the nature of the posts, Jasmine would have set them to private.
Bailey added: “Our main goal is to find Jasmine. We believe she is in Chattanooga.”
An arrest has been made in connection with the disappearance of the University of Chattanooga student.
Officers announced on Wednesday that a 22-year-old had been charged with criminal homicide in connection to Jasmine’s disappearance.
Any tips on Pace's whereabouts are urgently requested from the Chattanooga Police via the Crime Stoppers Hotline at (423) 698-2525.
