Salisbury Road restaurant set ABLAZE as 72 firefighters scramble to the scene
A RESTAURANT on Salisbury Road in Hounslow has been set ablaze as 72 firefighters dashed to the scene in a desperate effort to quell the flames, it has emerged.

A statement read: “Ten fire engines and 72 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire at a business centre in Salisbury Road, Hounslow.
“A restaurant and offices are alight.
“The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers have taken 27 calls to the blaze.
“The Brigade was called at 10.56pm. Fire crews from Heston, Feltham, Hayes, Twickenham and surrounding fire stations are at the scene as well as colleagues from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.”
The latest update from the London Fire Brigade stated that “crews are making steady progress”.
It added: “Crews are making steady progress at the scene of a fire in Hounslow.
“A restaurant of two floors is alight.”
As of 1.38am the fire is “under control”, according to The London Fire Brigade.
Their latest update read: “The fire in Hounslow is now under control.
“Crews are expected to remain on scene into the morning damping down.”
