BREAKING: Wheelchair protesters block MPs out of Commons over benefits cuts
PROTESTERS in wheelchairs have blocked MPs from entering or leaving the Commons in a demonstration over benefits cuts.
Police stood guard of the Members' Lobby as protesters chanted
Members of Disabled People Against Cuts chanted "no justice, no peace" in Parliament's Central Lobby.
Protesters demanded to speak with MPs as police formed a line at the entrance to the Members' Lobby.
They said they wanted cuts to social care to end and demanded the reintroduction of the independent living fund.
They chanted: "This is a message to Theresa May - while we have no justice, you have no peace.
"No more deaths from benefit cuts."
