When will the Night Tube start on the Overground line?
The capital’s 24-hour Tube service on Friday and Saturday nights is being rolled out to the London Overground line from December.
The Night Tube will start running between New Cross Gate and Dalston Junction this year before being extended to Highbury and Islington in 2018.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan today said: “Our Night Tube services have been a real success right across the capital, so I’m delighted to announce that we’ll be bringing the Night Overground to the East London line later this year.

How much does the night tube cost?
Standard off-peak fares apply for the Night Tube. Day Travelcards remain valid for journeys starting before 4.30am the next morning.
Where does the Night Tube run?
Night Tube services currently operates on the Victoria, Piccadilly, Northern, Jubilee and Central lines.
Transport for London (TfL) hopes to extend the Night Tube to parts of the Metropolitan, Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines when modernisation programmes finish in 2023.

The timetable for the Overground night services has not yet been released.
Victoria and Jubilee line trains run on average every 10 minutes through the night at the weekends.
Central line trains run about every 10 minutes between White City and Leystonstone and about every 20 minutes between Ealing Broadway to White and Leytonstone to Loughton/ Hainault.

Northern line trains run on average every 8 minutes between Morden and Camden Town and about every 15 minutes from Camden Town to High Barnet/ Edgware.
Piccadilly line trains run about every 10 minutes between Cockfosters and Heathrow Terminal 5.

The Night Tube first launched in August last year. Since then, more than 6.5million journeys have been made, boosting the capital’s night time economy by £77m and supporting about 2,000 jobs.
