Theresa May shocks public as she struts through the regatta on day off
THERESA May took some much-needed time away from politics to enjoy a day out on the banks of the Thames at Henley Royal Regatta today.

Accompanied by her husband Philip, the Prime Minister was led into the Stewards’ enclosure as crowds of revellers arrived to enjoy the rowing races.

Her cream dress and coat with navy roses evidently met with the approval of the famously eagle-eyed Stewards who enforce the stringent below-the-knee dress code.
Mrs May is a regular at the regatta, which takes place on the borders of her Maidenhead parliamentary constituency.
And she would have been able to enjoy a welcome break from the humdrum of Government communications because the use of mobile phones within the enclosure is not allowed.
The Prime Minister was later spotted seated next to Olympic rowing legends Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent.
