Manchester “hero” Steve Jones rushed to assist young victims after the terror attack which left 22 people dead at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.
He told ITV news: “Just because I am homeless, it doesn’t mean that I haven’t got a heart and I’m not human still.
“They needed the help, I’d like to think that someone would come and help me if I needed help.
In response, Mr Sullivan launched an appeal to track down the brave rough sleeper and promised to help turn Mr Jones’ life around.
He told BBC Radio 5 Live: “It looks like he needs some help, so we are desperate to find who he is and give him six months free accommodation and a little bit of money to help him on his way.”

After reaching out on Twitter to try and find Mr Jones, Mr Sullivan announced he had managed to find him.
He tweeted: “WE HAVE FOUND STEVE! Shows the power for good social media has. Thank you to all those involved, you have helped change a man’s life.”
Mr Sullivan, who co-owns West Ham with his father Dave Sr., also said he plans to buy Mr Jones new clothes and food.

He said: “I just hope he won’t be homeless anymore.
“He’s a lovely guy, and he’s shown he’s a very courageous man. He deserves rewarding.”
Mr Sullivan added: “Everyone deserves a second chance. I don’t know his story or what happened to him, but I hope he gets his life back together.”
Twenty-two people were killed in the attack
Hundreds of people across the globe have also reached out to offer aid to the 35-year-old.
One man, inspired by Mr Jones’ story, set up a fundraising page that has already raised more than £40,000 for the hero.
Another woman has managed to raise more than £26,000 for Mr Jones using a separate fundraiser.
