Farron said Corbyn has failed to act as a proper opposition
To a cheering crowd of party activists, he said: "This is one of the most important seats in the country. One that voted to Remain but has since been betrayed and disappointed."
Mr Farron accused the Labour Party of "skipping hand-in-hand" with the Conservative Party towards an irreversible Hard Brexit.
The leader added: "Whether you voted to leave or remain, it is wrong for this Government to interpret Brexit as taking us out of the Single Market, without asking the British people.
"And to choose to not even put the final deal to the British people at the end of the process.
"We will give the British people a say on the Brexit deal. What has a government got to be afraid of with democracy?"

"This is an opposition that has copped out over Brexit.
"Kier Starmer and Jeremy Corbyn have faied to stand up for the British people."
