Damian Green says Corbyn would 'dismantle' UK's defence
Tory MP Damian Green claimed that Jeremy Corbyn would be a risk to national security in an interview on Sky News.
The cabinet minister said that the left-wing leader would unpick Britain's defences bit by bit.
This comes after Mr Corbyn refused to confirm whether he would launch a strike against the leader of ISIS if given the chance as Prime Minister.
Corbyn refused to say whether he would authorise the killing of ISIS leader
He also refused to say whether Labour would support the renewal of Trident during his appearance on The Andrew Marr Show - something that Labour MPs were furious at.
A Labour spokesperson later confirmed that the party still supports Trident renewal as part of its political platform.
This morning, Mr Green told Sophy Ridge on Sky News that the Tories were not misconstruing the fact that Mr Corbyn was weak on security.
He said: "You just have to listen to what Jeremy Corbyn said."
Damian Green said Corbyn would leave the country vulnerable to terrorism
Corbyn is a strong supporter of denuclearisation
He would fail to deal effectively with terrorism
The MP continued: "What he said this morning was that he would dismantle Britain’s nuclear defences and he would fail to deal effectively with terrorism.
"This man could be Prime Minister in seven weeks time!
"I can’t think of a better reason for sticking with the strong leadership of Theresa May than the fact that Jeremy Corbyn would dismantle this country’s defences."
He then added: "You have a contrast at this election, the choice before the people at this election is either the strong and stable leadership that Theresa May provides or Jeremy Corbyn with a ragbag of other parties that don’t agree with him supporting him, making a coalition of chaos."

Damian Green also refused to disclose what was going to be promised in the Conservative manifesto.
He told Ridge that the Conservatives would have lower taxes than Labour, but refused to promise that income tax, national insurance & VAT will not rise.
Mr Green also refused to clarify whether the Government would keep the triple lock on pensions that guarantees that they will go up every year.
But, Ridge mocked the Tory minister for appearing to "copy" Ed Miliband's policy on an energy cap, which was described as "extremely dangerous" at the time by the Conservatives.
