Homeless man charged with murdering mother and her son appears in court
A HOMELESS man has appeared in court charged with murdering a mother and her teenage son.
Aaron Barley appears in Birmingham Crown Court charged with murdering his mother and her son
Aaron Barley, 23, spoke only to confirm his name and was remanded in custody after yesterday’s seven-minute hearing at Birmingham Crown Court.
He is accused of killing Tracey and Pierce Wilkinson and the attempted murder of businessman Peter Wilkinson, 47, at the family home in Stourbridge, West Midlands, last week.
Barley wore a grey t-shirt and dark trousers during his magistrates court appearance on Saturday.
Barley, of no fixed abode, is charged with two counts of murder and one of attempted murder.

The 23-year-old was told he will reappear at the Crown Court on a date yet to be fixed and spoke only to confirm his name.
No bail application was made during the short hearing.
