A STUDENT who spat in a policeman’s face and screamed racial abuse at a black bouncer was spared jail because a judge said she was a “lady”.

Polish-born Karolina Szumko, 18, was turned away from a club after drinking half a bottle of vodka.
She attacked staff at London’s Notting Hill Arts Club when they tried to stop her rowing with a friend before kicking and punching police, a court heard.
She screamed at officers, “British *******, you don’t believe in any ******* nation. ****ing racists, pretend to be white but wish Merry Christmas to Muslim people”.

Hammersmith magistrates court heard that Szumko told a bouncer: “You ******* black, you shouldn’t be standing between us.”
When taken away in handcuffs and leg restraints she spat in the face of one officer, threw water at another and was heard saying, “you’re going to ******* die”.
Szumko admitted assaulting a police officer
Szumko, a photography student from Ealing, west London, admitted assaulting a police officer, racially aggravated public order offences, assaulting an accredited person and common assault.
But Deputy District Judge Turner told her: “I’m not going to send a lady to prison for something like this.”

Szumko was given 150 hours community service and ordered to pay her victims £200.
