Manchester fire cloaks city centre in smoke as Deansgate restaurant goes up in flames
A FIRE in Manchester has cloaked the city in thick black smoke after a Deansgate restaurant went up in flames.

Emergency services have rushed to cut off the area near the junction of Bootle Street and Deansgate.
Witnesses have claimed a restaurant is at the centre of the dramatic blaze.
The premises on fire is believed to be Topkapi restaurant.

Kitchen staff can be seen lining the streets of the city in photos uploaded to social media.
The fire is the third major incident in the last twelve hours.

Shoppers were rushed out of an Asda store in Luton on Monday as sixteen fire crews were called in to tackle the blaze.
On Sunday evening a scrapyard was at the centre of a dramatic blaze in Govan, Glasgow.
