Britain terror warning: Risk of ATTACK by Islamic State ‘at new high’, Sadiq Khan warns
LONDON could be on the brink of a devastating terror attack from the Islamic State as keeping the capital’s citizens safe has become “increasingly difficult”, Sadiq Khan has revealed.

The London Mayor warned the cutting of police budgets has heightened the threat of jihadis striking Britain.
Mr Khan also took aim at Donald Trump and criticised his travel ban for gifting ISIS a powerful propaganda tool.

The Labour politician also warned against the rise of terrorism and radicalisation within Britain.
He said: “We saw in the last year-and-a-half, Londoners born and raised in our city radicalised in their bedrooms to the extent where they jump on a plane and go to Syria.

“The best way it has been explained to me is that the bad guys are evolving.”
He added: “Inadvertently President Trump is playing into the hands of ISIS and Daesh by giving the impression that being a Muslim is incompatible with being a friend of America and visiting America.”
After criticising the US President, Mr Khan offered to “educate” the Republican on how to deal with terror threats.

He said: “I am all for people who have a blind spot or need illuminating or educating being educated.
“So I am in favour of explaining to President Trump why it is important for us to build bridges not walls.”
His warning comes just days after thousands signed a petition to remove Mr Khan from his London Mayor post.
