‘Revolution is FAR FROM OVER’ Defiant Nigel Farage blasts attempts to delay Brexit
NIGEL Farage has slammed attempts to delay Britain’s exit from the EU following the Supreme Court’s decision to force Theresa May to secure a new law before Brexit talks can formally start.
Farage has been critical of those trying to delay Brexit - including campaigner Gina Miller
The former Ukip leader scolded the political establishment for acting “as if the people serve them” following the seven-month anniversary of the vote to leave the crumbling Brussels bloc.
Writing in The Telegraph, Mr Farage claimed: “I know that I speak for many in expressing deep frustration that this is all taking so long.
Every attempt to delay or dilute the referendum result will only lead to a further anger towards a large section of our political class
“The whole point of the referendum was to trust the judgment of the people… the Supreme Court has decided to take that trust away.”
He went on to criticise the Government for having so far failed to start the Brexit process, despite former Prime Minister David Cameron claiming: “this is your decision. The government will implement what you decide.”
Mr Farage said: “Nothing could have been further from the truth.
“Many others who voted Remain because of the apocalyptic threats of George Osborne can now see that their house prices have not plummeted. They no longer fear Brexit.
“Every attempt to delay or dilute the referendum result will only lead to a further anger towards a large section of our political class.
“The revolution of June 2016 is far from over.”
