Whinging Remainers and liberals moan as Nigel Farage announces new radio show
THE ANNOUNCEMENT Nigel Farage will host a daily radio show enraged some of the Brexiteer's bitter critics.
Nigel Farage: We need a clear out of our ambassadors
The former Ukip leader will take up the regular evening slot on LBC, where he has already presented occasional weekend shows.
Mr Farage – who is still a serving MEP – will present an hour-long programme four weekday evenings a week beginning from next Monday.
The Nigel Farage Show runs from Monday to Thursday, and will be presented in various locations from London or across the US or Europe.
This is seemingly the first role Mr Farage as taken on since standing down as Ukip leader.
Nigel Farage was berated after announcing a new daily radio show
I’d rather stick knitting needles in my ears than listen to you
He initially resigned last summer, but returned on an interim basis after his successor, Diane James, resigned only 18 days into the job.
Mr Farage has since been replaced by his former deputy, Paul Nuttall, who won the second leadership contest of the year.
President-elect Donald Trump said that the Brexiteer would make a “great” UK ambassador to the US, but Downing Street responded that there was no "vacancy".
Announcing the new show, LBC said the presenter would “bring his inside knowledge, experience and grasp of world politics at a pivotal time in our history”.
@Nigel_Farage @LBC Aren't u supposed to be in Brussels being an MEP? Don't the 'great' British public pay you for this? I want my money back

@Nigel_Farage @LBC You need to be PM. The revolution cannot rage in Great Britain without you.

Mr Farage added: “The Nigel Farage show will be full of opinions, callers and reaction, as well as my nightly final thought of the day.
“I can’t wait to start this new daily show. I invite listeners to agree with me, challenge me and together we can lead Britain’s conversation.”
But Mr Farage and LBC’s announcement was not met with entirely positive feedback as social media users criticised the station and politician shortly after.
One posted: “I’m sure your thought of the day will be so insightful.
