Parents on alert as man tries to lure Northampton schoolgirl into car in abduction attempt
AN attempted abduction at Woodland View Primary School in Northampton has sparked a warning to parents.

Woodland View Primary School said the girl, aged between seven and 11, had been approached by a suspicious man on December 6.
Hardingstone Academy have also sent out an alert to parents of pupils attending the school.
The email from Woodland View said: "A man approached one of our key stage 2 girls this morning outside her house in Grange Park, asking her to get in his car. The police have been notified.”
A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire police said they were investigating the worrying incident.
She said: “I can confirm that we are investigating an incident after being called just after 8.35am today to reports of a man acting suspiciously in the Grange Park area.”
