Greater Northern Rail also took to the social media site to confirm the problems, writing: "Services between Moorgate & Finsbury Park are still suspended following a signalling fault", and explaining that services will instead be terminating at Finsbury Park or diverting to Kings Cross.
Twitter user Andrew Silverwood complained: "It's pointless organising a meeting at 9am when you live in Finsbury Park because your options are either leave at 7 or be late."
