China is planning to develop a train that can reach speeds of up to 373mph (600kmph) - and could get from London to Paris in just over half an hour.
CRRC Corp Ltd. are researching and developing something called magnetic levitation (maglev) trains, which would be faster than any other operation, according to a report on People’s Daily Online.
The firm, China’s largest rail transportation equipment maker, will also be making high-speed cross-border trains that can travel at 250mph (400kmph).
The new 373mph trains would be faster than any Maglev train currently in operation.

The bullet speed trains would mean that trains between Begin and Shanghai - two of China’s biggest cities - would take two hours.
Currently, travelling by train between the two cities can take nearly four hours.
And a trip from London to Paris would take only 34 minutes on these high-speed trains.
CRRC official Sun Bangcheng, told People’s Daily Online that the company has a goal of establishing domestic technology and systems of high-sapped maglev trains that can be applied globally.
The new high-speed maglev trains will be the fastest
These trains will consume 20 per cent less energy that the trains currently in use in China.
In recent years, China has seen a rapid development of its high-speed railways.
The country currently has a more than 20,000km of high-speed railways - the world’s longest high-speed rail network.
The story comes after Express.co.uk revealed when the best time to book your train tickets if you are heading home for Christmas.
