From what I can make out, the load got disturbed and I think it fell on him and he suffocated

The lorry involved reportedly had the markings of Austrian firm Klog Logistics, which transports different cargo across Europe.

Witness Julie Breen, 57, said: “The driver was quite distressed.
“He came across to me and said he had found a migrant in the back of his lorry.
“From what I can make out, the load got disturbed and I think it fell on him and he suffocated.
“I only saw a boot and a leg. I called the police. The driver was foreign and he had asked me to call the police.”
Kent Police and other emergency services were called to the scene.
Mrs Breen added: “Obviously it is very upsetting. We don’t know where he came from but he has probably got a family. It is not a nice thing to happen.”
